Easter

I know, I know I'm late posting Easter pictures, but most of you have probably already seen them via Facebook or Email, but for my son's sake and being able to look back on this blog site sort of like his very own baby book blog, I'd better post them!!

Braden was so sleepy by the time we got to Granny C's house after church, that he fell right to sleep soon after we got there, right along with his cousin Victoria, therefore they both missed out on the egg hunt with the bigger kids! But, once he did wake up he was ready to explore what these eggs were all about! At first we gave him one and then sat a few around him, and after that he wanted them ALL!

We had such a great time and I loved seeing my neices and nephews. I just dont get to see them enough, that I treasure the little time that we do see each other. It's always great seeing my brothers also. Sometimes I think I'd love to go back in time and savor so many fun childhood memories with them! Time flew by so fast, and it seems like you dont appreciate those memories until your older!

The weather had been an issue a few days leading up to Easter and we really were crossing our fingers that Sunday would turn out nice enough to picnic outside and of course hunt for eggs! The morning of was very windy, and a bit humid, but by lunch time it was sunny and warm! We had soooo much food! Too much probably! BBQ and all the fixings and lots of sweets and Easter treats! (I'm a poet and didn't know it, hehe :)

Anyway, it was a great time had by all, most of my aunts and uncles were there, minus my grandparents unfortunately, but they had prior engagements planned. My Mom worked very hard to make it nice for everyone, and although I wish everyone could have stayed longer, it was a great day!

Thank you again to my Mom, she loves her family dearly and its great when we can actually all get together and catch up! We need more times like that, and I'm doing my best to make sure that happens for my son!

I hope you all had just as wonderful of an Easter as we did, and acknowledged why we celebrate this day! Jesus sacrificed his life for ours, and for that I am forever grateful!
