Today, I will start my journey to weight loss. My goal is to lose 10 pounds in the remaining 47 days left in 2010. This will be a struggle for me, only because I rather come straight home and spend time with my family, but I know that to be my best for my family, I must feel my best, and right now...I don't.
I can use all the encouragement I can get, and I will post my results as the days go by. Ever since I had my son I have carried an extra 15 pounds and I don't feel good about myself 80% of the time. I want to have more energy, feel good in my clothes, feel pretty for my husband, and right now I am none of these.
Today's weigh in is 136 (and this is deceiving because after my shower and a bowl of cereal I was 138, so I feel like I'm cheating by saying 136, especially when I come home in the evening and it says 140). Anyway, I just want things to stay in their place if you know what I mean, LOL! So, please help me, root me on, check-up on my progress, encourage me, and tell me what you're doing to stay healthy and in shape, it motivates me to keep on track!! I will weigh in every Monday morning so stay tuned!!

Way to go! I soooooo badly need the encouragement to get started losing weight. I go back and forth and usually end up giving up and eating tons of Brie and buttercream icing... at least that's what I did today.

You can do it girlie! It takes a lot of discipline and strength. If you visit, livestrong.com...there is a tool called myplate. This tool has helped me keep track of calories. It's interesting how a lot of times we don't eat enough while dieting, so I highly recommend tracking via a web tool. Best of luck missy!
Thank you all for your encouragement! I bombed lastnight, a horrible headache struck & coffee cake w/hot coffee after dinner sounded SOOO good! And, the headache kept me from working out! But, today my ipod's charging and I'm gearing up to make up for yesterday! Tune in Monday on my results! Haha!
