My First Play Date

Braden & Allie
(5 months & 6 months old)

What a fun experience for both babies & parents! It was so fun to watch them interact! They were amazed that there was someone just their size to play with! Allie is beginning to teeth, but Braden didn't mind ;)

LIVE! with Regis and Kelly 2010

As a proud Mommy, I have entered my little man into the Beautiful Baby Search, I'm not exactly sure how to vote yet, but as soon as I find out I will let everyone know! I believe they pull the winner March 10th!

If you want to check out his picture, go to the link posted above and search names that start with "B" he is currently around page 44, but it changes some as more people enter their children! Of course they wanted a picture taken no earlier than December 20th, so I couldnt post one of the fabulous pictures we had done in November, darnit! LOL!

The winner receives:
*An appearance on the cover of Parenting Early Years
*$125,000 towards a college education
*A trip to LIVE! with Regis & Kelly
*ALL four runners up will receive $25,000 towards a college education
*ALL ten semi-finalists will receive a years supply of Gerber products

Wish us (or him really) luck!!! Hehehe ;)

Welcome 2010...

What a crazy, busy year it has been already! I feel like I have absolutely no time to just sit back and enjoy all the blessings that are in front of me.

New Year's Eve was absolutely perfect, and was spent with the two main men in my life, my husband and my beautiful son! We just snuggled up watching Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Eve program and went to sleep shortly after midnight. We very much value what sleep we can get these days.

Returning to work after the New Year was hard! You get used to all the long weekends and extra time spent with your family, and with work a new year came new changes. My job has done some reconstructing within the office and our office duties. I am now taking on a much more important, detail-oriented job load and working closer with the office manager and president of the company. Hopefully, this means more pay soon too!! Haha! James and I could definitely use the extra cash! Anyway, it has been a challenging and fast paced couple of weeks, but its also been a nice, refreshing change to what I have been doing in the past.

The new year has me really looking at my life and where I'd like to be at the end of this year and the years to come for my son, my husband, and for my own sanity!

Referrals are AWESOME!

Okay so you know the photographer I was telling you all about that did our family portraits?!?!?

Well, I referred this new, up and coming photographer to a friend of mine that needed someone for her "at home wedding" which made Lyndsay (the photographer), excited because she hadn't photographed a wedding before!

Anyway, she did a FABULOUS job and I just want to give her some more props! I am so happy that the referral worked out great for the both of them, one gaining more experience and one having these great photos to look back on for years to come!

Here are just a few photos of my friend Dani and her special day....if your looking for a photographer let me know!

'Tis the Season

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Hope everyone had a fabulous time with family and friends celebrating the birth of our savior Jesus Christ.

We had a very busy, but very nice Christmas break. Christmas Eve we spent with my Mom and grandparents for Candlelight Service at Katy 1st Baptist Church. It was a beautiful service with great hymns and a great message to all. Christmas Day, we headed to my Aunt's in Humble, TX then back to Katy to James' grandparents, and then Aunt Kat's.

Anyway, I just wanted to share a few pictures with you all of Braden's very 1st Christmas! He did so well opening (with help) his gifts from Mommy & Daddy, and Santa of course!

ENJOY!

Our Family Photos

Hi everyone! How was your Thanksgiving?!?!? I hope you all had a wonderful time with your families and loved ones!

Well, I had been wanting to take some 3 month old pictures of Braden and while at it, take some family portraits for Christmas! I didn't really want to go to a store to take them, so I looked around for a local photographer that didn't cost an arm and a leg, but also would do a fabulous job! I was introduced to Lyndsay, which happens to know my husband from their High School days believe it or not! Anyway, she has started to transform her hobby into a profession, and she is absolutely wonderful!

So, here are some of them.... You be the judge!!
