Hey girls! So, I need some ideas for some new receipes! Something thats only going to take about 30 min to an hour to make and is filled with tons of good things for me and the baby! If you read my previous blog from this morning, then you know I'm craving something different, not our same 'ole dinners we have everynight. I have gone to the grocery store so many times in the past couple weeks and it just seems like I come home with nothing. I would really love some of your ideas and favorite receipes if you have any to share!
Thanks!

I have several recipes that you can have. I will get them tonight out of my drawer. The one that I know off hand, which is fast, easy and inexpensive.
Tortilla soup
1 c of salsa
3 c of water
chopped celery, onions, any kind of beans you like (they are good for you) corn peas( any veggies you want)
1 lime
1 c of cooked rice
3 cooked and seasoned to taste chicken breasts.
Mix all the ingrediants together and simmer for 30 min until veggies are tender
add celantro and squeeze the lime.
You can also crisp tortillas in a pan by slicing them and cook them until crisp.
Add salt and pepper to taste if you desire.
I hope you like it, it goes a long way and very good too!
Soo...Do you own a crock pot? Let me know.
Ok...do you have the fix it and forget it cook book? It's the best thing since sliced bread! If you don't...no worries...I can make a copy and send it to you in the mail!

I've got a few recipes I could email you. Here's something I throw together when I dont know what else to cook because it's good and easy: Put a whole chicken in the crockpot with a can of chicken broth and some water. Then slice up carrots, onion, garlic, celery, potatoes and just let it cook. Make some rice to go with it and you're ready to eat!
